How do I get to the Peace Palace in Istanbul?

The World Peace Assembly takes place at the Maharishi Peace Palace in Istanbul, Türkiye. The closest international airport is Istanbul Grand Airport (IST), approx. 17 km or 20 minutes from the Peace Palace.

Visa

Course participants from Europe do not require a visa for a stay of up to 180 days.

The Electronic Visa (e-Visa) Application System was launched on 17 April 2013 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye. This system allows visitors travelling to Türkiye to easily obtain their e-Visas online (www.evisa.gov.tr), in approximately three minutes. 

COVID

Turkish rules on COVID-19

 

Unrestricted international entry into Turkey, with travelers permitted to enter the country without any testing or vaccination requirements. The necessity to complete a passenger locator form is no longer in effect.

Follow all official instructions. Abide by national health and safety measures. Reconfirm all travel arrangements. Consider delaying traveling if experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, as they may prompt increased scrutiny and delays. Liaise with trusted contacts for further updates and guidance. Maintain contact with your diplomatic representation. Ensure contingency plans account for further disruptive measures or extensions of current restrictions.

  • comfortable and dignified clothing

  • meditation shawl

  • your Yoga mat

  • indoor slippers

 

  • If you have special medical needs, we advice you to take the medicine with you.

  • Health insurance that covers you at the course location, incl. Covid.
